In brief: LS2’s updated Scope II flip-front helmet gets a host of improvements for 2025, including ECE 22.06 approval, a sturdier chin bar locking system, a new fully removable COOLMAX lining and built-in readiness for LS2’s Bluetooth intercom. Still great value from £129.99, it comes with features you’d usually expect on pricier lids, with dual P/J homologation for legal use open or closed.

LS2’s popular Scope flip-front helmet gets a major update for 2025; the new Scope II builds on the original’s winning formula with improvements that make it even more practical, comfortable and safer – while keeping the price firmly in the value-for-money category, starting at just £129.99.

Legal to use on UK roads in both the open and closed positions – thanks to dual P/J homologation – the Scope II now meets the latest ECE 22.06 safety standard and features a redesigned locking mechanism for the 90º flip-up chin bar, for extra reassurance.

Made from LS2’s own High Pressure Thermoplastic Technology, the shell combines strength with low weight – 1750g – and comes in three external shell sizes for a close, comfortable fit across the full XS to 3XL size range.

Up front, the main visor is quick-release and scratch-resistant, with a wide aperture for all-round visibility. Designed to deal with all conditions, it comes with a Pinlock 70 MaxVision anti-fog insert included and there’s an internal sun visor too.

Vents at the chin and top, channels in the EPS and a rear exhaust port help keep the wearer comfortable on warmer days and in traffic. Also new for the Scope II is the hypoallergenic COOLMAX lining, which handles moisture management, and is breathable, fast-drying, and fully removable for washing.

The Scope II is also now compatible with LS2’s own intercom system — a feature typically reserved for premium-priced helmets — making it easy to stay connected on the move. Other practical touches include cheek pads with laser-cut foam for a snug, pressure-free fit and an emergency release system.

The new Scope II is available now in sizes XS-3XL. It comes in three solid colours priced at £129.99, and four eye-catching graphic options at £149.99.
