An incredible circuit awaits

A one kilometre straight!

One of the great things about Motocraft is how reassuring the whole package is. This, very much, includes the bike transport. The team have a premises in Ballymount and offer their clients a choice of days to load their bikes and kit up to a week before the event. The riders load their own bikes on the companies stillages which are checked by the Motocraft crew. Once everything is rechecked they’re loaded onto the companies truck and everything is shipped to the relevant circuit.

When riders then fly in for the few days on track they find their machines exactly as they had packed them and in the pitlane garages waiting to be unpacked. All of the handling is done by the team. Motocraft own the stillages, the truck, operate the forklift, drive the truck from Dublin to the circuit and load and unload it once it’s over there. They don’t use any other sub-contractors or third party agencies anywhere along the way. Quite simply your pride and joy is treated exactly the same as theirs is.

Fast, sweeping bends

As the race season gets underway in earnest a lot of the circuits are booked up for international events with MotoGP, WSB and F1 (a type of car racing involving loads of electronics and even more money) taking centre stage.  Additionally there are full calendars of national and local race series to be accommodated. As pretty much all of the tracks are very busy the next Motocraft outing won’t take place until the end of August. It’s a long wait, but it's going to be worth it!

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, to give it its full title, was opened back in 1991. The following season they hosted the MotoGP. Since then a round of the premier class has raced on the track every year. Several seasons ago the calendar was expanded to include the FIM Superbike World Championship. The iconic track is 4.65 kilometres long and Johann Zarco laps it in 1.39.9.
