Like it or not, the motorcycle season is coming to a gentle close for 2025. While this may be bad news for some, it’s very much good news for others. It’s that time of the year when dealers and distributors put their demo models up for sale and Waterford Harley-Davidson are just one of those shops that are selling theres’.

First up is the all new PanAmerica ST. This takes from the popular adventure bike range and dedicates it to be used on the road only. It’s lighter than the original as well as narrower and with a lower seat. Add the fact that it has road standard 17” wheels and a huge choice of rubber as a result, we have a road dedicated tall tourer that is significantly more agile on the black top than the other bikes in the PanAmerica section of the companies’ offerings.

The bike can, of course, take luggage, carry a pillion and is good for all sorts of non-traditional Harley riding, even taking on a trackday! It’s the perfect weapon for the daily commute as it is for the Sunday morning spin as well as a tour across Europe.

The Street Bob is a more traditional machine from the American giant. Like the PanAmerica it’s also powered by the latest generation of air and liquid cooled Milwaukee-Eight engines. Being a bike from the companies Sportster range, it is a basic stripped back bike that embodies the H-D bikes of old. As standard it comes with mini ape bars as well as a set of mid mounted foot controls. All the better for a heathen like me to ride!

Another bike of the fleet is the new 2025 Road Glide. This is very much a new bike and while it’s still wrapped in American cultural heritage, that iconic Sharknose fairing has been reworked to be more aerodynamic without losing any of its style. Other things that are new are the TFT screen, the Bluetooth connection for the rider and pillions phones and the new gearbox. Once again, it’s powered by the Milwaukee-Eight® 117 engine which makes a tasty 130 ft-lb of torque!

All three have ridiculously low mileage, with as little as 300 – 400 kilometres on the clock. Coming with a years road tax and a tank of juice is good, but the best part is that even with a decent discount from a new model all three haven’t been registered which means that the new owner will be the first owner and the bikes warranty will start, not from the bike was first used, but from the day that the new owner rides it out of the store.
