One of the biggest names in motorcycle exhausts is Yoshimura. Affectionately known as ‘Yoshi’, the brand has long been associated with Suzuki motorcycles. This association is so strong that the Yoshi systems and end cans for all Suzuki bikes are now being supplied through the Suzuki parts service and are co-branded with the Japanese bike manufacturers name on the sleeves of the exhaust systems end cans.

Meanwhile, the 1,300cc Hayabusa, is a motorcycle with an excellent pedigree. The big Suzuki, a motorcycle long confirmed as the worlds fastest road bike, is now a staggering 25 years young!

To celebrate the occasion the company have launched a very special anniversary model. This has now landed in dealerships, take a look as we reckon that you’ll be impressed. This very special new bike features a one off paint scheme. An orange and black based body is complimented by special colours for the drive chain adjuster as well as the front brake disk inner. Then there’s a very special 25th anniversary emblem and a three-dimensional Suzuki logo on the tank.

Nice pipes!

Way back in 1998, when it was first launched, the bike was a bit ‘raw’. It produced a whole lot of power without as much as ABS! Now, in keeping with what the rest of the market is at, the new model has a suite of electronics. These include the companys own Suzuki Intelligent Ride System. This in turn features traction control along with a bi-directional quick shift system.

There are a number of aftermarket pieces available. One of the ones that I really like are those R-77 Slip-on Yoshi cans. Once the baffles are out the noise is sublime! As they also allow the bike to breathe a little more the bike actually produces even more power both in terms of both horse power and torque.

As an extra they’re worth it for the aesthetics alone. They look so much better than the standard ones ever will. Indeed the standard ones look so big that they take quite a lot from how the bike looks. It’s almost as if the bike was designed and they were added on as an afterthought. Yoshi’s pieces look so, so much better.

Only €500 a pair!

The only real problem is that they cost a staggering amount of money. €3,500 to be precise. That on top of the €19,875 for the bike itself and things are starting to get a little bit ‘juicy’.

The good news is that now, thanks to a special offer from the company, the price of the Yoshi cans is reduced to only €500. This even includes fitting them. The Hayabusa is an exceptional machine. Yoshimura make exceptional exhausts. The two together are a match made in motorcycle heaven and the price is angelic! Talk to any of the many Suzuki dealers across the country about yours.
